Reunions
Reunions are a great way to meet up with old friends, to reminisce about your days at the University of Karunya or to develop useful networks with fellow alumni.
A reunion can be based around class anniversaries, club and society memberships, room mates from halls or just a specially selected group of friends.
International Alumni Reunions:

1986-1990
The Silver Jubilee Celebrations Of The Class Of 1986-1990
August 07th 2015 was a memorable day for the students of the first batch of Karunya University as they returned to their institution seeking memories of the past. The pioneering batch had a momentous program with their teachers at the Elohim Auditorium. Dr Maria Louis, former principal of Karunya Institute of Technology, Dr Sundar Manoharan, Vice Chancellor and Dr Joseph Kennedy, Registrar were the chief guests for the gathering. The event was enriched with emotional speeches from the alumni and their faculty. The day came to an end with the hostel visits followed by a meeting at the Vice Chancellor’s office there was a discussion with 9 alumni from the alpha batch showcasing the advancements made by Karunya during the last 25 years .The meeting also included a discussion on how the alumni could contribute to Karunya in terms of research, industrial collaborations, product patenting and placements .On the very same day the Inauguration of IBM’s Big DATA Innovation centre organized by the School of Computer Science and Technology took place and one of its chief guests included Dr Beulah Moses, our alumnus from the first batch who is currently a Research Scholar with The Australian Defence ,Science and Technology Organization. The alumni returned to their respective workplaces with a luggage full of remembrances of their alma mater.
1987-1991
Silver Jubilee Reunion (1987-1991)
The 29th of July 2016 marked yet another historic day in the timeline of Karunya University as the Elohim Auditorium witnessed an energetic crowd of more than 50 graduates of the batch of 1987-1991. The Alumni meeting commenced at 11.30 AM with the registration of each of the alumni on the Alma Connect Portal. Following the registration, they were provided with refreshments. The session began with a word of prayer followed by a prayer song by the students. The session continued as distinguished alumni adorned the dais with their presence and voluntarily came up to share their testimonies. Senior faculty members graced the event with their esteemed presence. The alumni presented mementoes to their faculty members thereby portraying their respect and gratitude for them. The faculty members were more than happy to be remembered by their earliest set of students and shared their joy of mentoring them in their journey towards success. The second session was a fun filled one as an interactive game was brought into the picture. Each one of them was given a sticky note and pen to write something special about their friend, batch mate or teacher. It was indeed a jolly experience for the alumni to cherish. Finally the event concluded with a closing prayer after which the alumni spent the rest of the day visiting their departments and their hostels.
