Karunya International Alumni Association
The forum named Karunya International Alumni Association (KIAA) was inaugurated in Dallas, USA on 25th April 2015 by Dr Paul Dhinakaran, Chancellor of Karunya University. The occasion was graced by more than 30 alumni and their family members.The awareness and importance to strengthen the relationship between the students currently pursuing their degree in Karunya University and the alumni had been taken into account. It was decided to support the current students in the areas of training, placement, career counselling, and help in other student’s area of interest. It was also decided to raise funds to develop the student’s activity centres that are going to come up in the campus.
Mr Anil John Joseph as President of KIAA, executive members and Board of Directors for Karunya International Alumni Association were appointed during this meeting. This body has pledged to work selflessly for the growth of the association.

Karunya Alumni Association India (KAAI) was inaugurated on July 12th, 2015 at the Ebenezer Auditorium of Karunya University by our beloved Chancellor Dr. Paul Dhinakaran and Vice Chancellor Dr. Sundar Manoharan. The Registrar Dr. Joseph Kennedy, Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran, Dr. Saibabu, President of KAAI and Mr. Anil John Joseph, President of KIAA were also a part of the inaugural ceremony. There were over 200 alumni in addition to the current students of Karunya University who had witnessed this prestigious ceremony.
The Karunya Alumni Association India(KAAI) has undertaken the task to promote the interest and welfare of Karunya University and its alumni, to improve the level of communication and promote a positive longterm relationship between alumni and their alma mater, to encourage fellowship among the alumni, to offer spiritual, social, and lifelong learning opportunities to our alumni, and to establish a worldwide alumni network. The mission of the association is also to form a bridge between the current students of the university and the alumni when it comes to careers, projects and etc. The Board of Directors were appointed from each passed out batch to work together and make a strong network among the alumni to achieve and uphold their mission.
